ATHENS, (May 5, 2015) – Dr Garefis N. Paris participated at the 63rd American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) Congress at Orlando, Florida, where he presented a new, painless dental technique. The aim of this technique is to ease the lives of millions of people, which suffer from serious dental problems. It succeeds total mouth and dental recovery, in less than 3 weeks time.

In severe dental disease cases, the treatment plan consists of an extended combination of dental procedures, such as periodontal treatment, post-fillings, extractions, positioning of implants or bridges, e.t.c. The mean time for these treatments to be completed is 7-9 months, while the patient suffers from dental pains.

Dr Garefis technique is based on a sophisticated medical plan and on computer-aided technology. The infections treatment, the placing of implants and the prosthetic work are done simultaneously, in one appointment. At a second appointment, 17 days after the first, the permanent prosthesis is placed, and the dental work is completed.

As Dr Garefis says, “As a dentist, I fully understand why dental pain makes people avoid oral treatment; it is a strong, sometimes unbearable pain, which may last for weeks. The most promising fact in this technique, is that people won’t suffer anymore during dental treatment.”

According to a recent worldwide study conducted by the FDI World Dental Federation, 30% of people aged 30-65 years suffer from serious dental diseases. Dr Garefis’ technique promises all these people quick restoration of oral health, thus a better quality of life.
